America, you are sick. You are an addict. You are addicted to porn. You are an alcoholic. You are a drug addict. You are sexually perversed. You aren't eating healthy, nor properly caring for your body. You've allowed yourself to be exploited. America, Jesus loves you, and wants to save you from the dark grave you've allowed yourself to sit in.

I originally grew up in a small village in the North Center of France. When asked the difference between France and America's cultures, I use to describe France as being this Older Grandfather and the U.S a rebellious teenager entering its ugly faze.

If I had to describe it today, 20 years later.... that rebellion has continued and unfortunately become its lifestyle, and no longer a teen but a mid 20 / early 30 year old young adult, mooching off its parents and feeling entitled to receive all handouts from its government.

Harsh? or a much needed reality check?

When you travel, which I have done (not much, but enough to see and compare), you discover how other societies, countries, and cultures live in. You get a dose of what you might be taking for granted at home in the USA, that perhaps is a luxury in another country. The countries I think about when I have these thoughts are: Most of Europe, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and the Bahamas. Hygiene, water access, food quality, living environment, job opportunities, politics, security, etc... become fascinating to see how others have developed throughout the years.

There's a reason why so many people wish, hope, make the incredible adventure of a lifetime, and sometime life threatening decision to travel to this beautiful country named America. Why people will flee their country, their comfort of being amongst their people, to go to the unknown and be a part of the land of the Free. The country of opportunities, and hope for a future. Life here is by far one that has become so incredibly comfortable, we sometimes forget how the rest of the world is living.

So what happened?

We went from a beacon of light, hope, love, unity, acceptance and protection, to greed, consumerism, fear, division and hatred. I'm not here to say that it was better before, and it no longer is good now. What I am trying to share is how we were viewed as a whole to the world at one point in time, not too long ago, and what we are viewed as a whole now- by the rest of the world.

Life is a continuous adventure/journey, and the idea that we have reached a point in our path where: "that's it! we've made it! we are not in need of change, things are good... they are what they are." is absurd. On the other side of the coin, knowing we do need to keep changing- we must focus on doing so for the better!

How?

Interestingly enough, Jesus, IS the answer. The Word of God, tells us exactly how and that it's really the only way. The United States were founded on God, and His word, His statutes, and His grace and mercy. The further we have distanced ourselves from Him, the more chaos we have allowed to become our new norm.

People on the majority are angry with God. So they think. What they don't realize is the devil is the one to blame, and no one gives him any credit towards any of the horrific, chaotic, and cruel things that are happening in this country, and in this world. God is somehow being placed for the devil's destruction, and we don't speak out this truth. The western world has allowed itself to completely remove his existence from our reality and conveniently for him gives him the liberty to keep destroying lives without being seen as the bad guy, and take all the glory from God while God is blamed for it all.

It's time to rebalance the scales of truth, justice, knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. We need to view ourselves as one body, and different members to this one body. I find that this perspective helps me include everyone. Compassion to all is needed to love those who are hurting, and in dark places, and gives me the ability to want to care for them, instead of judging them. Every member of our body is important, even if it's not seen, it has a purpose, a significance, and belongs. Nothing was created as a waste, and every life is as such- needed and made with reason.

Just like any unhealthy, sick, and hurt body, there are incredible and many different solutions. As a Christ follower, prayer is our weapon. Serving others in our community is another effective way to shine His love, and light. Supporting our neighbor(s), one day at a time and showing those who think they have been forgotten they are seen, loved, and even cared about. We must unite, and fight this spiritual battle together. We are stronger in numbers, and more effective when we are of one accord. And that is the beauty of the Word of God. Our God is never changing and will always remain the same. Praise Thee for that! He is the only consistent One in our lives, from generation to generation. And whether we drive horse buggies, a old truck, or a tesla; whether we speak english, french, thai, or spanish; we are all in need of love, and help. Help in our confidence in knowing we have a reason for being here, that we are part of a larger plan, and love that no matter what has happened, Jesus loves us for He created us. He chose us. He will never leave us or forsake us. <3 Jesus is the answer, always.
