Aloha,
So before you go and spend $300+ on a Vitamix, ask yourself this... Does it sauté ? does it ferment? does it steam? and does it have the ability to weigh what you are putting in to have a consistent meal on the regular?
Let me answer these simple questions for you.... NO. IT. DOES. NOT.
But for around the same price they are asking for, for their fancy blender, you can do all those things, and BLEND. Not only does a Thermomix combine all of what I previously asked if your Vitamix wish it could do.... it will guide you step by step on over 70,000+ recipes. With a built in touch screen with HD imagery, and full spectrum colors, you have the ability to finally bring out the chef in you that you've been dreaming of doing so, with complete confidence!

It replaces 12 different kitchen appliances into one, but is super friendly in complementing some you might already have like: an air fryer, oven, and a fridge.
What I like about my Thermomix, is it helps me plan out my meals, creates a shopping list for me that is interactive and removes what I may already have or end up buying. And lets me try new recipes based on cravings without fear. I had an instapot before finally investing in this beauty.... and I never used it as much as I wanted to.... finding a recipe online, getting it, having to write down the ingredients, buying them, finding recipe again, pulling it up, reading recipe step-by-step, stoping video or ad that pops up, scrolling back down to where I was, re-reading step to make sure I got it right, or because I lost my place... I don't know the entire experience felt forced, and aggravating, which is not really what cooking has always been about for me. And then, if I finally accomplished it and the results were above good, I'd redo it over and over again, because the comfort of knowing how was now learned and felt familiar.
The Thermomix allows me to have that comfort even on recipes I have NEVER attempted. It allows me to follow step-by-step and move efficiently as I accomplish each asked tasks.
My first dish ever made with the Thermomix was An Angel Berry Triffle. I have NEVER HAD TRIFFLE, but it looked delicious and said it would take 30 mins from start to finish.... which I had the time, and the ingredients seemed simple to get and the difficulty in attempting this dish said easy, soooooo why not!?

I also saw you could make your own angel cake ... so I actually made that first! I felt on a roll and daring and confident! like my possibilities in trying new things were finally open doors and I went for it!

this is how mine turned out... I forgot to take nice pictures, so forgive the non-professional result... but I served it to our kids for our keiki ministry at our local church and they LOVED IT!

There's a lot you learn as you go, but the machine is truly intuitive and can easily become learned and used with comfort and efficiency as you discover all the modes and functions it provides. I just want to share the love I have of this machine and hope that it brings the Joy and confidence it has brought me in wanting to cook and share meals with those around me.
If you like on Kauai, and want to have a cooking experience where I bring my Thermomix and we have a set menu and use the machine together, cook, and eat the delicious results, click the button below or send an email to newcreationkauai@gmail.com
