"For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things." Psalm 107:9

God has a way with words, doesn't He? Before I accepted Jesus into my heart, and decided to make Him my Savior, let alone my Lord, I was into eating a vegan diet. A decision I made from guilt, shame, and learning how we treated our livestock and oceans. I was dairy free, and gluten free, and corn free, afraid to break out in acne which I suffered badly for over 7 years! Adult acne is the worst, and if you need to talk to someone about it, trust me when I tell you, I hear you! and am totally willing to be that person in your life to guide you to how I am now free from it all.

You won't like who I give the credit to, but it wasn't no pills, not acutane, a strict regimen of face lotions and oils and routines, but faith, prayer and total surrendering to Jesus. Trusting His word above all other names and spoken ill-wishes upon my skin and body.

Many may call my testimony a bluff, but I got scars and pictures to prove it, and when you have cystic acne, trust me, those who truly went through it, would never lie about it.

Anyways... before I make this post about skin and surrendering, let me get back to food!

ahhhhh yes food. who doesn't like good food? I myself love it from all over the world. Growing up in France, I am use to the butter, the creams, the farm raised chickens and the meats and cheeses. But I have a fascination with Asian, Indian, Caribbean and even African cuisine! The mixture of flavors, spices, herbs, and combination of foods and colors are endless and such art. It's such fun to taste and experience it all. But whose got the money and time to travel nowadays on a secretary/art teacher salary? Yes, I am married, but even with a third income, between bills and rent, and insurance- "ain't nobody got time for that!"

So I recently rediscovered something from my summer childhood- the Thermomix. The Thermomix also known as the Vorwerk is an amazing Kitchen appliance that helps the foodie and chef at-heart women and men, like myself cook all the foods I drool over.

Isn't it time to feel confident in the kitchen, and start hosting those dinner parties as single ladies, moms, and just foodies!? The one thing I remember my mother telling me once she got her Thermomix a few years back was she "regrets not getting it while the kids were still young, because it would have made life much easier and tastier!" And my mother is not one to have any regrets!

That's why I decided to get my very own Thermomix, and not even come close to the thought of regretting not getting it when I wanted to. It's definitely an investment for those of us who don't make more than 5 figure income. BUT if you were to add all the appliances you may already have in your kitchen:

  • Blender

  • cuisinart

  • instapot

  • stove top

  • peeler

  • mixer

  • whisk

  • pots and pans

  • scale

  • heating thermometer

  • steamer

  • pinterest to get inspired for recipes

  • books and more cookbooks

it combines all of it into one. That's right. With 24 modes and over 70,000 recipes all at the touch of a button.... cooking anything you want- to satisfy a specific craving, to impress, to elevate your cooking skills. Thermomix is your cooking buddy to help you step by step. But you can also go rogue. Do it manually, add your own recipes, be daring, be bold, be confident, be hungry for more food in your life in a new way!
