My Thermomix has allowed me to make new dishes, only I thought I could experience at a restaurant. I learned to cook at a young age, and learned from my mother, grandmothers, and other family members who knew their way around a kitchen, incredibly well.
Growing up in France, the relationship with ingredients, food, and the kitchen is very different than how I have noticed it to be here in the United States.
My Thermomix has allowed me to go back to my roots. Where cooking is fun, about sharing an experience and the love of delicious food with those you love most. As of right now in our home, its just husband, baby, and I. But hubby works physically and its hard labor, so really when I cook its for 5-6 people. Only because I also will make enough where he can have a easy lunch the next day from what we ate. And if there's left-overs for me, I too will have a easy lunch to re-heat and eat the next day.

Most of the recipes (+70,000 to choose from) range from 4-10 servings. Interestingly, I had a cooking experience with some sisters in Christ just last night, and a meal of 6 portions, was incredibly filling and accurate!! We were all able to agree how tasty, delicious, and filling it was and how the portions actually seemed small at a first glance!
Which reminded me of how I grew up, quality over quantity is always key! And when you have Delicious food, you don't need much to truly satisfy your cravings and hunger. After all, our bodies are truly holy living sacrifices and temples for the Lord to abide and live in. Of course less is more, when it comes to healthy and nutritional meals. That's what it is truly all about!
